Civil Society, Security Experts for strong measures

Shocked over the brutal incident of terror in Chinore on Wednesday, the Civil Society and Security Experts have voiced their serious concern over the prevailing situation and have called for well thought out strategy to check recurrence of such incidents.
Providing of covering fire by the regular Pakistan army to the militants to enable them to cross this side of border at various places at LoC and International border is a matter of great concern. During the number of flags meetings held at the border and LoC, Pakistan army officers assures their Indian counter parts of their any involvement in the episode. When terrorist have no support from Pak, then how they managed to cross, is a matter of deep concerning which needs to be probed at highest level so that the killing of innocent persons is avoided.
The two major militants attacks on May 11 at Sambas and another on May 27 (yesterday) Chinor has been viewed seriously by the people by the people of the region.
EARLY TIMES, spoke to a cross section of Civil Society and Security Experts seeking their reaction on the brutal activities of the militants, They said, the killing and injuring civilians has no value in a civilized society. People of the world want peace and development, the killing and compelling the people to follow the path of autocrat etc has no value in the millennium which we entered over seven years back.
Former DGP of J&K Police, T.R. Kalra said, it is not a security lapse. It becomes difficult to check infiltrators, as they are not fully electrified, as such whole project is a total failure. He said the militants take the benefit of the darkness and cross face by crawling, as it is not a wall. Quoting the statement of DIG, BSF, G.S. Virk, Kalra said, militants post are so far-off and it becomes difficult to check. He said earlier mountains used to save us, but in modern age we have save mountains. Major Gen (Retd) B.N. Dhar in his remarks said, the additional Vigilance and more border post be provided.
He demanded electrification of the barbed wire all along the border and LoC. Border post should not be too far off. There is nothing to be warned, our army is always ready to fight the evil designs of enemy.
Another retd DGP of J&K Police, M.M. Khajuria said, steps should be taken for extra Vigilance on borders. He demanded that fence all along the border be fully electrified so that the persons touched it get shock and will not try to cross. There should be regular check of electric gadgets and sensors etc.
He said Jammu people hence always sacrifices their life for another land, which cannot be ignored.
DIG, G.D. Sagwan of BSF was not available for his commits as he was busy with the meetings etc though promised.
