| Only BJP can ensure dignified return of KPs in Valley: Parneesh | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 7: Parneesh Mahajan, Convenor Department of Training Cell, BJP, J&K, lambasted People's Alliance of Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) for their cheap tactics of befooling the people of Jammu and Kashmir. In a statement issued today, Mahajan said that the leaders of mainstream political parties of Kashmir Valley have changed colour from time to time for their illicit will. The handful of leaders want the restoration of Article 370 just because it was the source of lining their pockets and fulfilling their hunger for power. It was the source of their prosperity and political ascendance at the cost of the people of J&K. Post Article 370 they see themselves as handicapped because they find it difficult to survive without blackmailing the central government over another issue, he added. Mahajan said that for these self centered people, development meant only the development of the dynasty as they carried on the legacy of their own family trait. The sole desire of the PAGD has been to loot the central exchequer using Art 370 as a shield like the mainstream parties did earlier. He said that they are responsible for radicalisation which has prevented the return of thousands of Kashmiri Hindus. "The responsibility of non return of KPs to Kashmir squarely rests with them and their colleagues in the Peoples' Alliance," Mahajan said. And now claiming to ensure the return of Kashmiri Pandits into Kashmir by PAGD leaders is nothing more than a political gimmick and misleading statements since they actually have nothing to do with people and their issues, he said.
