Reasi, Nov 7: Salal Power Station organized a voluntary blood donation camp to commemorate 46th NHPC Raising Day at Project Hospital, Jyotipuram under the able leadership of Sh. N. Ram, HOP, Salal Power Station.Officials of NHPC, Central Industrial Security Force, Central Reserve Police Force, Jammu and Kashmir Police, Kendriya Vidyalaya, HDFC Bank and Volunteers of some social organizations came forward to donate the blood.
Shri L. Bedajit Singh, General Manager (Medical Services) inaugurated the Blood Donation Camp in the presence of Senior officers and employees of Salal Power Station. The Blood Donation camp was conducted with the support of Government Medical College Jammu and District Hospital, Reasi. Total 104 volunteers donated blood for the noble cause. District Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Director Health Services, CMO District Reasi facilitated the conductance of the Blood Donation Camp.
Poetry symposium was also organized to make NHPC Foundation Day a memorable day, wherein employees & their families recited their self composed poetry praising NHPC on this momentous occasion. Dr. L.Bedajit Singh, General Manager (Medical Services) as well as Mr. Jitendra Kumar, General Manager (Electrical), Mr. Satyavan, Deputy General Manager, Mr. Dinesh Kumar, Deputy General Manager(E), P K Das, Deputy General Manager(E).
, Mr. Sanak Luha, Deputy General Manager (C ) and a large number of employees and their families made the ceremony a success with their august presence.
