Jammu, Nov 8: Usha Gupta of Spring Dales English School Changran, Kathua has been declared as a winner in Transforming Education Awards organized by Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar for Best Inspirational Teacher.
Sania Billawria and Shanu Sharma (11th Class), Sourav Sethi and Ansh Sharma (12th Class) had made the video on their most inspiring teacher, Usha Gupta which has stood first in the entire J&K state. The school has been awarded a grant of Rs. 50000, the Teacher an award of Rs. 25000 and the student(s) who made the video have been awarded a prize of Rs. 10000.
The School, Teacher and Students also got the Winner Certificates for this beautiful short film.
The awards to all the 11 winning Schools, teachers and students across the country from Raipur, Ambala, Agartala, Nashik, Kathua, Vijayawada, Cuttack, Hamirpur, Haldwani, Agra and Ludhiana were given in a glittering Ceremony at Lovely Professional University Campus, Phagwara.
The nominations for the award this year were invited wef. 15th September 2019 in the form of an inspirational video to be made by students for the teacher which inspire them the most.
1111 videos of teachers across the country were uploaded on facebook for voting which ended on 10th January 2020. The selections have been made based on voting as well as the appraisal of the teacher. |
