JAMMU, Nov 10: Former Executive Member of J&K Bank Balwan Singh on Tuesday joined the Congress Party in presence of All India Congress Committee (AICC) In-charge J&K Union Territory Rajni Patil and JMC Corporator of Ward-7 Ritu Choudhary in a Signature Compiagn at Vivekanand Chowk organized by Congress Party.
On the persuasion of JMC Corporator Ritu Choudhary, Former JK Bank Executive Member Balwan Singh along with other supporters have joined the Congress Party in presence of National and J&K senior leader at Vivekananda Chowk Jammu in a gathering.
Corporator Ritu Choudhary in her address said that Congress is organizing such programmes across the nation to educate people about BJP's anti-weaker sections policies. She further that people of J&K in general and Jammu province in particular feel betrayed and cheated by the BJP as this party (BJP) has backstabbed people on the issue of land and job rights.
Balwan Singh while speaking to media said he along with all his supporters would take the agenda and dogma of the party to each nook and corner of the Jammu and Kashmir besides exposing the persistent betrayals of BJP especially with the weaker and marginalised sections of the society.
