Overwhelming support to SAYSS
Ward 27 donates Rs 101,117, Marh schools Rs 21,000

An overwhelming support is continiuing to pour in for the ongoing Jammu agitation and people from different walks of life are donating to the fund of Shri Amarnath Yatra Sangharsh Samiti.
A cash amount of Rs. 1,01,117 (one lakh one thousand one hundred and seventeen) was handed over to Leela Karan Sharma, convener, Shri Amarnath Yatra Sangarsh Samiti by the residents of Ward No. 27, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu as their contribution to the ongoing agitation.
On the occasion corporator S.Surinder Singh Shingari assured to Leela Karan Sharma that the residents of Ward No. 27 will always extend their support to the Sangarsh Samiti.
Private School Association of block Marh and Bhalwal have extended full support to the ongoing agitation launched by Shri Amarnath Yatra Sangarsh Samiti.
In a meeting association president Lal Chand Gandotra said, no doubt students suffered due to bandh and curfew, but will be compensated by giving extra tune to the students. He said holidays will be reduced for the completion of syllabus. Association also paid glowing tributes to martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the cause and donate Rs. 21,000 to Shri Amarnath Yatra Sangarsh Samiti. He also appeal the people to maintain harmony at all levels.
The Karan Nagar Sangarsh Samiti organized distribution of dry ration to the economically weaken sections of the society of Karan Nagar and the adjoining areas who are adversely affected by the continuous curfew and Jammu bandh.
This was sponsored by Nirmal Jamwal R/o Karan Nagar and Suneet Kumar Raina, Director, Shree Institute of Education, Karan Nagar. The distribution was made through active participation and support of youth of Karan Nagar and the under the supervision and collection of material by B.B. Gupta, Sanjay Sharma, U.K. Handoo, Bhagwan Dass, N.N. Sharma, Tej Krishen Koul, Achla Verma, Sushma Jamwal and Ashwani Charak, members of Karan Nagar Sangarsh Samiti.
The Karan Nagar Sangarsh Samiti had already distributed 300 packets of dry ration to the poor and needy persons of Karan Nagar, Amphalalla, Rehari, New Plot and Mohalla Ustad, the release added.
Meanwhile, the langer Samiti of Rehari Colony and Hari Singh Nagar, in a meeting held under the chairmanship of Vetran leader Rishi Kumar Koushal constituted a committee of 25 members which will look into false cases filed by the police against the police during the current agitation.
The meeting also demanded that the equal distribution of assembly seats be made to both the religious and there only hold elections. Action against pro-elements persons, which include PDP, NC etc be taken. For the last 30 days langer are being organized by the langer committees for the poor people.
