Urging the state Governor to immediately issue Ordinance envisaging handing over the land to Shri Amarnath Shrine Board in accordance with the 4-point proposal submitted by Bhim Singh, the JKNPP today claimed that the proposal is acceptable to all prominent religious leaders of Kashmir including the separatists, who have given silent consent to the proposal. Addressing jointly at a press conference here the JKNPP leaders said the proposal put forth by the Party Supremo to end the stalmate over the land row is acceptable to all across the state including the separatists who have already given their consent. The party leaders said that the 4- member committee constituted by the party supremo to inquire into the Chinore tragedy has completed its report which would be submitted to the Prime Minister by Prof. Bhim Singh. The 4- member inquiry committee headed by the party president Bansi Lal Sharma has revealed that the Chinore mayhem was engineered by Kashmiri separatists including PDP, NC and the Congress. The other members nominated to the fact finding committee included party state vice president P K Ganju, general secretary Anita Thakur and coordinator Jagdev Singh. The committee examined over 30 persons including the victims of the attack and recorded their statements on the sport, the JKNPP leaders said. Expressing solidarity with the people of Jammu seeking justice for the growing discrimination, the JKNPP said that the government is morally and constitutionally bound to provide security to every peaceful protestor in Jammu. |
