Jammu State Morcha (P) President, Prof Virender Gupta accompanied by Dig Vijay Singh Secy.General, Devinder Singh Jamwal Secy & Rachpal Bhatti President Samba District along with the general public of Ramgarh Village celebrated the victory of Jammuties in this historic agitation under Shri Amaranth Sangarsh Samiti for the restoration of the land to the Amarnath Shrine Board. They danced to the drum beats and distributed sweets amongst the entire population of Ramgarh Village and congratulated them for their steadfastness which ensured the victory.
Later in the day, while addressing a press conference at Vijaypur Prof Virender condemned the Government of its appeasement policy towards Kashmiri and allowing them to take out ‘Azadi’ rallies in the valley and regretted that the patriotic and nationalist were denied to take out victory rally here today.
He congratulated all the people of Jammu Region for the success in this historic agitation which was only due to the complete co-operation and selfless sacrifice of all walks of the society. He also saluted the people for showing utmost resolve during this agitation and said that the entire Jammu people will remain indebted to the Martyrs who sacrificed their lives during this agitation. He, however, cautioned the people that the war against the discrimination is not over yet and ‘we all have to be ready to fight for a separate Jammu State to end this domination of the Kashmiri leadership’ in the days to come. Jammu region will never get its due till such time it is a part of the present political structure, he said and observed that only once we have our own legislature and administration under the new Jammu State will we be able to achieve our own destiny. |
