| Jagadguru Shankarachrya hails resolution of SASB land | | Appreciates role of Muslims, Christians’ | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Aug 31 Jagadguru Shankaracharya , Sarvaghyapeeth ( Kashyapmeru Peeth ), Sawami Amrita Nand Dev Teerth has also expressed happiness over the success of Shri Amarnathjee Yatra Sangarsh Samiti ( J&K) in carrying the commitment to the cause of Hindu in the name of land and authority for Shri Amarnathjee Shrine Board. In a message from Pune sent through Daya Sagar (Trustee Vedic Vishav Kalyan Trust), Jagadguru has congratulated Leela Karan Sharma convener SAYSS for keeping the faith reposed by the Hindu of India in him. Swami has expressed his appreciation for the Muslims and Christians of India in general and that of Jammu region in particular for the concern and support they have shown towards the ‘Aastha’ of the Hindu in the Amarnathjee Shrine. Rather all Hindu feel obliged towards them, Jagadgura observed in his message. Swamijee has prayed for the welfare of the Hindus and Muslims of J&K and hoped that all efforts will be made by the Hindu of J&K to settle any bitterness that might have been generated due to any unintentional misunderstandings. Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sawami Amrita Nand Dev Teerth has also thanked the Governor J&K for equipping the Governors committee for negotiations with such a draft proposal for restoring the legitimate functions including the land at Baltal and Domel to SASB. Swamijee has also hoped that the Man Mohan Singh Government at New Delhi would fully support the J&K Governor in his efforts to normalize the conditions in J&K without ignoring the nationalist elements and for issuing immediate orders for the commitments made with SAYSS on 31-08-08. Swamijee has advised all Hindus to take the success of the SAYSS andolan as a prasaad of Shiva and receive the same with out entering into any extra sentimental conflict with those who may see some loss in the agreement reached by SAYSS with the government. Swamijee has hoped that the Muslims of Kashmir Valley will appreciate the Hindu sentiments and the SHIVA being the symbol of Bhartieta and they will happily accept Hindu from any other State of India (even from any where in the world) as member of Shri Amarnath Shrine Board.
