Exhibition of Art by women artists concludes

Jammu, Nov 21: An International Exhibition of Art by aWomen Artists- 2020 (Online) organized by Jammu & Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA), Jammu and inaugurated on 1st November, concluded today. Art works by female artists of ten countries were displayed in this exhibition curated by Sh. O P Sharma, Founder Director, JKCCA.
Sh O P Sharma, Director, JKCCA said that the the exhibition drew attention of a number of artists and the media. He appreciated the participation of female artists to make the show a grand success. He added that JKCCA is committed to promote and preserve art, culture and languages in the future also. He informed that the artists of Sweden, USA, Bangla Desh, UK, Thailand, Australia, Qatar, South Africa, Turkey, Vietnam and India have participated in the show. It may be recalled that Jammy & Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA) was established in 1999. Since then it has been it has been contributing in the promotion of art, culture & literature in different corners of the country. It has organized eight International Art Exhibitions and a number of national and state level art exhibitions and art camps during its existence. JKCCA has exhibited the talent of artists of remote areas of Jammu & Kashmir at various places in the country from time to time, along with holding major art events at different levels. JKCCA has now become a prominent NGO in the state of J&K working uner Pt. Kewal K Sharma, President JKCCA.
