| Chaman hails victory of nationalists | | | Early Times Reporter

The former minister and a senior leader of the BJP, Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta has termed the big success of the nationalists on the issue of land of land for the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board.
As per a release, Prof. Gupta congratulated them as also to Sangarsh Samiti for their great success in this big battle with the forces of oppression and suppression for over two months long struggle.
Prof. Gupta maintained that regional discrimination against Jammu for the past over 60 years, was the result of communal mind set of the leadership of Kashmir being dominated by the secessionists and protagonists of autonomy and self rule, who are virtually the different faces of the same coin. But the main problem has been the Congress leadership and their henchmen in Jammu who have been dancing at the tunes of every ruler, may be of the National Conference, PDP or that of the Congress itself.
Prof. Gupta recalled that the nationalists have been opposed to this discriminatory status right from the beginning and the great leaders like Dr. Shyama Prashad Mukherji had made supreme sacrifice during 1952-53, during long struggle which was spear headed by the great Dogra leader, Late Pandit Prem Nath, the release added. |
