National Conference has hailed his patron Dr. Farooq Abdullah for supporting the agreement arrived in between the Govt. and the Amarnath. Sangrash Samiti.
In a statement issued here today S. Peter former political advisor also took a strong exception to Mehbooba Mufti statement opposing the pact ands said that PDP has lost his base both in Kashmir as well in Jammu.
He said the 2 months long agitation in Jammu has exposed the PDP fully which now it seems is a political front of militant’s element in the state.
He said that Dr. Abdullah has done the right thing to support the Govt SASS pact which had brought peace to the Jammu region which was genuinely on the boil because of the land controversy.
He said 2 months long agitation in Jammu was totally secular and supports all the shades of people. He said that though kashmiri separatists leaders of some and the leaders of some so called main stream parties had tried to provoke the Muslim of Jammu, the later ignored all communal cards and supported the cause of land. Thus maintaining the communal harmony and Jammu and isolating the sections elements.
Others who attended the meeting Raja Nawab Ahmed, S. Tarlichan Singh Sudan, Taranjeet Singh Tony, Ralpaul, Dr. Kamal Arora and Vjay Bhushan, the release added.
