Women Club Meri Pehchan felicitates several personalities

JAMMU, Nov 25: Women Club Meri Pehchan organized a felicitation ceremony in which reputed personalities across the nation were felicitated. Maharaja Hari Singh Samman was conferred upon Latika Arora, Kajal Suri(actor/director), Arti Dhar (Supervisor MACC).
Eminent singer and composer Suraj Singh was awarded Awaaz-e-Duggar and famous singer Krishan Lal Premi Jatt (loko migi taang sajne di fame) was awarded with lifetime achievement award. On this occasion,a song written by prominent writer Kusum Sharma Antra , sung by Nandini Kapoor, recorded by Deepak kumar and music composed by the renowned music composer Brij Mohan was also released which was dedicated to the social activist and founder/chairperson of WCMP/Maharaja Hari Singh Samman.
While welcoming the personalities who were present on this occasion, the chairperson WCMP expressed her gratitude and willingness to reach out to the finest of the talent an honour for them. She also mentioned about the rich Dogra cultural heritage which inspired her to start Maharaja Hari Singh Samman. While speaking about the social work done by her she said that it is the moral duty of every human to serve humanity in one or the other way and requested the others too to come forward to do the needful. To encourage the youngsters about relationship goals, she also announced the award Maa ki Laadli which will be given every year to the female maintaining the best balance in parents and in-laws. This year's Maa ki laadli award was conferred upon Mehak Jain (Fashion Designer).
The prominent who were present in the event were Thakur Gulchain Singh Charak(president Dogra Sabha), Dr S.P Verma padamshree (Gandhi Global family), Sunaina Mehta (KAS), D N Sharma (chairman Rotary eye hospital), Dev Raj Gupta (f/o MartyrTusharMahajan),Vikas Manhas(Indian Army Supporters), and others. The event was anchored by the celebrity anchor Kusum Tikoo.
