Maintaining that need based programme with constructive approach implemented at ground level would prove enormously advantageous and effectual, the Divisional Commissioner Jammu Mr. Sudhanshu Pandey asserted on evaluating the vital problems and conceding these on priority.
The Divisional Commissioner was interacting with the deputation of Sadbhavana Ke Siphe- an NGO in his office chambers here today. The deputationists apprised about their programme chalked out for carrying varied activities in the areas affected due to the prolonged agitation. They emphasized on strengthening unity and integrity of the state, its composite culture and build bridges of trust thus preserving communal peace.
Assuring all possible assistance to the deputationists in carrying out their activities in different districts, Mr. Pandey stressed that the programme should be local demand based so as to redress the grievances of the sufferers in the right perspective. He suggested identifying local traditional material and standardizing its use for cheaper and faster development in the particular region. |
