In view of the forthcoming holy month of Ramzan, Divisional Commissioner Jammu Mr. Sudhanshu Pandey reviewed the overall preparations being made at varied level for the convenience of the Muslim community fasting during the month.
Deputy Commissioner Jammu Dr. Mandeep K. Bhandari and senior officers of PHE, PDD, Health, JMC and CAPD were also present.
Interacting with the officers from various department and representatives of various Muslim organizations, Mr. Pandey enquired about the arrangements which included drinking water, electricity, sanitation, health facilities etc. He stressed for constitution of inspection squads for random market checking to ensure quality and fixed price. He asked the concerned officers to ensure cleanliness in and around meat and poultry shops. He also directed the PDD authority to ensure un-interrupted power supply Sehari and Iftaar times. |
