BAJ Members while addressing the gathering described the statement made by a disgruntled politician Mehbooba Mufti and other secessionists of valley regarding the agreement reached with Beloria Panel and Sangarsh Samiti and by-product mindset of religious intolerance and against the basic concept of secularism, Bar members warned President PDP Mehbooba Mufti to desist from making such irresponsible and provocative statements for their petty vote bank politics.
Bar Association Jammu today on the Eve of Historic Victory of the Nationalist and Patriotic people of Jammu region took out a victory rally under the Chairmanship of its President Adv Bupinder Singh Salathia in which Advocate LK Sharma Convener of SAYSS participated. The massive rally of advocates passed through different localities and markets and culminated at High Court Complex Janipur Jammu. A rousing reception was given to the victory rally by the people of Jammu at various places and raised slogans of BUM-BUM BOLE. The gathering were addressed by Bar President, Convener Sangarsh Samiti and Sr. Adv SS Lehar appealed to the civil secular society of Kashmir to come forward and strengthen the hands of secular and nationalist forces in the valley and isolate such immature and frusted leaders who are hell bent to incite innocent people of state for disturbing communal harmony and divided them on communal and regional lines. BAJ appreciate of the statement made by Dr. Farooq Abdullah Former Chief Minister of J&K who described the agreement with Sangarsh Samiti as "victory of Truth over evil" and urged him to stick to his statement and advise his think-tank to support the same. BAJ is convinced about his double opinion that had Dr. Abdullah his owned statement made in Jammu which he himself contradicted in Kashmir. JNF
