Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 28: Taking a dig at the Gupkar Alliance for befooling people in the name of restoring Article 370 and 35-A, Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Jai Ram Thakur said that leaders of such parties were day dreaming and trying to hoodwink the innocent people.
In an interview to JK Channel said that no one can resume article 370 in J&K. He also appreciated the support the party is getting from the public.
He further said that Article 370 was a history now and question of its revocation does not arise.
He observed that weaker sections were the biggest beneficial of this historic decision taken by the Union Government on August 5, 2019.
He said "The atmosphere and support we are getting from the public is quite appreciable. I got to see such things in Jammu very less even during the Vidhan Sabha elections and even when I was in student politics. The need of Modiji can be seen in J&K. People now feel the need to work and help on ground level and that's why taking DDC elections seriously. The Gupkar Declaration is a very frustrated community. They are doing the same thing as in Bihar where many groups came together to defeat Modiji but couldn't and same is going to happen here too. People have seen a lot now and understand everything very well."
"Development in tourism will happen, which has in fact already started after the abrogation of article 370 and 35A. There are many places in J&K which tourists don't know about. The atmosphere of fear has always acted as a hindrance in tourism here and I'm sure as in HP, J&K will soon see a growth in tourists", he told.
