| Land rellottment is people's victory: Swaraj | | | Indore | Sep 1
Declaring the Jammu and Kashmir government's decision of re-allotting the disputed land to Shri Amarnath Shrine Board as a significant step, Bharatiya Janata Party senior leader union minister Sushma Swaraj today dubbed it as people's victory.
''Sixty days spent in taking back 100 acres of land but during that period every woman and child pave on the road to protest the decision and hence we get it back,'' Ms Swaraj told journalists in 'Meet to Press' programme here today.
She said that Kashmir's public did not agitate under any political banner and carried on such a big struggle on its own.
''This is not BJP which always raise religious issues but this time Centre itself provides us,'' she said.
Ms Swaraj claimed that in BJP would retain power in next Assembly polls scheduled this year end. |
