Jammu | Sep 1

Eminent socio-political scientist and Rashtriya Swabhiman Andolan president Govindacharya has accused both Congress led United Progressive Alliance and Bhartiya Janta Party led National Democratic Alliance of a tacit understanding on diluting Indian sovereignty in Kashmir. He said that both UPA and NDA formulae on Kashmir have a dangerous ramification for the Indian nation.
Govindacharya, who is on a two day visit here was addressing a joint press conference with Panun Kashmir and Jammu Tigers, ( Force for Justice) said that there is no difference between UPA and NDA policy on tackling Kashmir problem. He said that both have a broader understanding over the highly preposterous proposals of joint management, porous borders, opening of routes and providing legitimacy to separatist expressions in Kashmir.
Govindacharya said that all these proposals have a dangerous ramifications for the Indian nation but are fashioned in a way that these can result into diluting Indian sovereignty without tinkering with the constitution of India and can be executed at the level of Government without discussing it in the Parliament.
Govindacharya said that Rashtriya Swabhiman Andolan has been supporting the Jammu agitation over Shri Amarnath Land row all across the country and held programmes in 140 districts in the form of dharna, courting arrest etc. He said that Jammu agitation has demonstrated that appeasing minorities at the cost of nationalist forces cannot be judged as a symbol of secularism.
Speaking on resolving Kashmir issue, Govindacharya said that lessons should be drawn from Jammu agitation and as a first step Kashmiri Hindus should be rehabilitated in Kashmir and idea of Panun Kashmir,( Homeland for Kashmiri Hindus in Kashmir Valley), can be a serious thought.
Panun Kashmir chairman Dr. Ajay Chrungoo and Jammu Tigers chief Kuljeet Singh also spoke on the occasion.
