Different Kashmiri Pandit organisations today welcomed the resolution of the Amarnath land row and claimed it was a victory of nationalist forces.
Panun Kashmir termed the agreement between the Shri Amarnath Yatra Sangarsh Samiti and the government as a "historical achievement a victory of nationalist forces" and claimed it would strengthen the nation as a whole.
"The victory of the people's movement is a blow to secessionist forces who tried their level best to sabotage the agitation," its chairman Agnishekar said here.
Jammu and Kashmir Vichar Manch president Ashok Kangan said the unity and oneness shown by the people of different communities was the main force for this historical achievement.
All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference president A N Vaishnavi congratulated the people of Jammu and the Samiti in particular for the resolution.
"The unflinching faith of the people who fought a battle for 64 days made the government bow before their resolve," Kashmir Pandit Sabha president A N Sadhu said in a release. |
