Early Times Report

Jammu, Nov 29: Exhorting youth to selflessly contribute in promotion of Dogri Art, Culture, language and folk to bring back its pristine glory, Chairman, Team Jammu, Zorawar Singh Jamwal here today released “Video Tu Bawe Maa Di Share Kar De”.
On the occasion, Team Jammu Chief, Zorawar Singh Jamwal appreciated young Abhishek Kalotra (Abhi), an Engineer on Electronics by profession, who sung his debut Bhaint paying tributes to Maha Kali.
“If Er Abhishek Kalotra, who is also pursuing his Masters in Dogri, can show such a great commitment towards music and art, it is indeed a matter of pride. Youth like Er Abhishek Kalotra can become ambassadors for promotion of Dogri language, culture and folk,” said Zorawar Singh Jamwal.
In his address, Chairman Team Jammu, lauded the efforts of Singer Er Abhishek Kalotra, lyricist, Saranga Battalavi, Music Director Kumar Gaurav, Video Director, K K Malhotra, Sahil Mahajan and Mahant Shri Bitta, and wished them good luck for their future endeavors. “There is no dearth of talent in Jammu Province be it artists, actors or sport persons who can bring laurels to Jammu and Kashmir.
However, it is an irony that the way other governments like Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh extends support to its budding entrepreneurs, the same is missing here in Jammu and Kashmir especially in Jammu Province.
“The one who chooses singing, acting or sports as their career, the youth have to manage all resources on their own due to which, a number of persons leave their dreams halfway and finally opt other unwilling fields to feed their families. The government must form a policy to support such talented youth,” highlighted Chairman Team Jammu, Zorawar Singh Jamwal and demanded that JKUT administration must take an earliest call on such issues as well.
