GDC Billawar organizes series of Manodarpan programmes

JAMMU, Nov 30: Government Degree College (GDC) Billawar organized series of events under the aegis of Manodarpan initiative.
Students voluntarily participated in Rangoli competition under the guidance of Cultural Convenor, Prof Rajni Kumari and results were adjudged by Prof Yashpal, Prof Anil Verma and PTI Ravi Kumar. Rajni Parihar, Tanya Devi, Bhumika Bhagat and Usha Devi secured first, second and third positions respectively.
Under Stress Management through Yoga, a lecture was delivered by social worker and yoga expert Angrez Singh, followed by practical Yoga practice sessions for two days, with special focus on stress releasing yoga Asans and yoga performing practices. A video conferencing lecture by Dr Gagan Hans, AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences)
Prof Sunil Uppal, Principal of the college thanked all the invited dignitaries in these three days activities and highly appreciated the outstanding efforts of Psychological Counselling cell coordinator, Prof Rajni Kumari and co-assisted by Prof Sujata, Prof Yashpal and Prof Anil and technical team and other faculty members for their never ending support. He also advised staff members and students to adopt Yoga, key to wellness and follow the extremely knowledgeable lecture/discussion by AIIMS doctor.
