Shiksha Niketan organizes online Fancy Dress competition

JAMMU, Dec 1: Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School, Jeevan Nagar Jammu conducted an "Online fancy Dress competition" on the theme "Famous National Personalities of India" to develop the confidence of the students of 2nd class. It provided a very good chance to children as well as their parents to show their creativity and to make their desired costumes at home.
The aim of the competition was to help children to communicate with others, and playing as the characters they love. Students of class 2nd took active part in it and showcased their talent by dressing up as various "National Heroes". They spoke about the characters very well with slogans which they had depicted, the boys and girls were dressed like- Chander Shekhar Azad, Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rani of Jhansi and Mahatma Gandhi etc.
Ridhan Thakur of 2nd A and Upasana Sharma of 2nd I stood first, Lavanya Sharma of 2nd D and Jivish Singh of 2nd D secured second position while Nityati Chandel of 2nd and of Diya Salgotra 2nd B bagged third position.
Highlighting the lives of these "National Heroes", the Principal of the school Rameshwar Mengi Ji said that it was due to their invaluable sacrifices that we are able to live in free India today. He emphasized that we should always remember them and pay our rich tribute to them.
