Pathseekers celebrate Guru Nanak Dev Ji birth anniversary

Jammu, Dec 1: To commemorate 551st Birth Anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev ji today the special session was held at The Pathseekers International School. Selected students took part in this shabad and kirtan program on Guru Nanak Dev ji's birth anniversary and celebrated this auspicious occasion with fervor. Chairman of the School SSP(rtd.) Bhupinder Singh was the Chief Guest on this occasion. The celebration started with enlightening of the lamp by chairman and Principal of the school. To begin students started with the 'Shabad kirtan' and also spoke on life of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Students also performed the enticing skit on his teaching. Harmanjot Kaur, Kulvinder Kaur & Mannat (Students) also throw light on the famous 'SAKHI' of Gurunanak dev ji. Thereafter, 'Langar' was organized in which 'prasad' was distributed to the students who participated in Gurpurab Shabad Kirtan Program and among the faculty members. Later on Manpreet Kour (Principal) appraised the students and enlightened them about his teachings , while addressing she said ' All religions lead us to universal god, may he bless you always'. and she also appreciate the efforts of students and staff members who organise virtual competitions on the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev ji and appreciated the efforts of those students who were present.
