Crime Branch recovers kidnapped child within 2 days,

Srinagar, September 08 – Acting upon the directions of J&K High Court in the writ petition titled Sabia Akther V/s State of J & K and Others Crime Branch, Kashmir, Srinagar registered an FIR on Sept 5, 2006 and made hectic efforts to recover a kidnapped female child. As a result of strenuous efforts, the Crime Branch managed to recover the child only within two days of registration of the case. The recovered child is being produced before the High Court for further orders.
Meanwhile, the Sr. Superintendent of Police, Crime Branch Kashmir has asked the proprietors of 13 newly recognized B.Ed Colleges to submit their documents regarding registration and affiliation of their respective institutions to his office within 3 days.
