Dharmarth Trust employees hold protest for 2nd consecutive day

JAMMU, Dec 3: Dharmarth Trust Employees Association (DTEA) held a protest demonstration for the second consecutive day today under the banner of Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh.
The protesting employees said that the protest shall continue till all their demands are fulfilled by the management.
The employees alleged that instead of holding negotiations to settle the long pending demands of the employees, the trust management suspended the Association President, General Secretary and other office bearers with mala fide intentions to harass, victimize and crush the trade union activities.
Protesters demanded withdrawal of suspension of five employees of the Trust, pay scale at par with Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board employees, release of one month pay as bonus, release of 15% DA installment and implementation of ESI scheme.
Employees from various units of the Trust such as Shri Raghunath Temple, Hari Bhawan Purmandal, Uttar Behani, Birpur Central Office Karan Bhawan participated in the protest. They urged Lt Governor Manoj Sinha to merge all Dharmath Trust temples with Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board for proper development of temples which are in pathetic condition.
Surjeet Singh, Parshotam Sharma, Ram Paul Sharma, Rajinder Sharstri, Jagjeet Chand, Anil Sharma, Balwant Shastri, Harbans Shastri, Madan Sharma, Pt Jeeven Kumar, Kundan Lal, Subash Shastri and many others spoke on the occasion.
