JAMMU, Dec 5: Shamaa, a registered society formed in the memory of Shaheed Major Arvind Bazala celebrated his birth anniversary with the inmates of BALGRAN, Jammu. Shaheed Major Arvind Bazala belonged to the Aviation Division of Indian Army and was a resident of R.S.Pura and alumni of Sainik School Nagrota. He attained martyrdom on 30th November 2016 during a tragic chopper crash in Sukna, West Bengal. BALGRAN is a well-known organization which provides family home to orphaned and neglected children while laying foundations for a secure and independent life. On this occasion, members of the family of Shaheed Major Arvind Bazala including his father T.R Bhagat and mother Santosh Bhagat were present. The speakers highlighted the life and story of Shaheed Major Arvind Bazala and urged the young inmates to lead a life which is dedicated to the cause of nation. Besides cake cutting, daily use items were also distributed to the inmates. Shamaa has been engaged in various kinds of social works including helping inmates orphanages, organizing Blood Donation Camps, etc. |
