Former Minister and sitting Member Legislative Council Mohammad Sharief Naiz in a statement has expressed his grief and shock over the tragic accident of matador occurred today at Kuligarh near Thathri in which 10 person lost lives and 18 other were injured. The ill fated matador was on its way from Kishtwar to Thathri. It has been reported that some of the passengers are still missing and feared to have been washed away in the Chenab River.
As per a release, Naiz has expressed his sympathy with the bereaved families of the decreased and prayed for early recovery of the injured who are being treated in the Thathari and Doda Hospital. He has demanded ex-gratia relief in favor of the deceased families and financial assistance to the injured person, the release added. |
