| SVO raids PHE office, seizes record | | |
Jammu, Sep 08 : State Vigilance Organisation today raided and seized the official record of Public Health and Engineering (PHE) Department Rural Wing, here this afternoon.
Official sources told News Agency of Kashmir that the VO Jammu received a written complaint alleging that the officials in the department have misappropriated huge amount of money meant for the installation of hand pumps in the rural areas under Sojjal Dhara Scheme.
Based on the complaints, a team of Vigilance Organisation today raided the office and seized the record pertaining to the money utilized under the scheme, the sources added. |
