1058 load carriers leave, 869 enter valley in 24 hours
353 trucks with fresh fruit depart for outside markets

As many as, 1927 load carriers departed and entered in the valley during last 24 hours up to 2 p.m. today. Of these, 869 trucks and tankers, carrying essential commodities and fuel, entered the valley and 1058 laden with fresh fruit, vegetables and other commodities, besides empty tankers left from the valley during the same period.
Giving these details here today, the spokesman of Divisional Administration said that 212 load carriers with rice, 29 with sugar, 42 with flour, 32 with sheep, 9 with chicken, 24 with fruit, 233 with other commodities, 52 with petrol, 70 with diesel, 42 with kerosene oil, 41 with LPG, 4 with milk entered the valley while as 79 empty trucks after off loading goods outside also returned during the same period.
He said that of the 1058 load carriers which left the valley towards outside destinations with goods, 353 carried fresh fruit, 45 vegetables, 153 other commodities and 507 empty after off loading fuel here.
