The Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) have totally denied the rumours about 72 hour bandh. As per press release CCI has announced that all the rumours are totally baseless, and false. Chamber has appealed to all the business community not to fall prey to any rumours which have not been endorsed and substantiated by Shri Amarnath Yatra Sangarsh Samiti. Business community of jammu province has already put in their potential share in the agitation for making it successful hence it has now resolved not to be misled by the vested interest who are in look out for the continuation of the disturbed conditions to achieve their hidden agenda. Ram Sahai, president Chamber of Commerce and Industry once again has appealed to the government for honouring its commitments made at the time of signing the agreement. So that the atmosphere is not allowed to be vitiated any further. Chamber’s delegation under the aegis of Shri Amarnath yatra Sangarsh Samiti visited Kishtwar for the on spot assessment of the damages and also for assessing the situation over there. People from all section of society met the delegation to narrate their story of despair. Delegation found that local administration not only failed miserably to Preempt and control the situation but some of the higher official were themselves involved for abetting and aggravating the situation. It is imperative that said officials should immediately be identified and action taken against them. Other members of delegation were besides Ram Sahai, were Rajendra Motial, Naryan Singh, Yash Pal Gupta, Udey Chand, Rmesh Arora and Kapil Singh. |
