Jammu | Sep 7

To celebrate its 30th Raising Day, the Artillery regiment invited the under-privileged children from ‘SOS Children Village’ Chhani Rama, Jammu to spend a day with the children of the serving soldiers. A modest and humble attempt was made to spread joy and happiness amongst them.
An entertainment program was organized for the children in which the children of SOS also actively participated. Magic fun games were also organized.
An equipment display organized during the celebrations left all awestruck. Different kind of Artillery Guns, a ride on the light tank and other new state of art equipments displayed were found to be very interesting to the invitees.
Pratima Saini, President Army Welfare Wives Association (AWWA), Tiger Artillery Brigade inaugurated the ceremony. She interacted with the children and wished them a bright and prosperous career. A collective lunch by all the children present during the ceremony was the last event of the day.
