Bhalla celebrates UPA’s Nuclear victory

Raman Bhalla, former MLA Gandhi Nagar constituency congratulated, Sonia Gandhi, Prime Minister and colleagues in particular and people in general for the successful deal of nuclear power with the America for the welfare of the nation in a meeting organized in his residence here today. Addressing the people who were thousand in number he said that it is the biggest achievement. He said that after 36 years India emerged as the biggest power and Jammuites must feel proud of it. Appreciating the role of people during agitation he said that in spite of the struggle people maintained communal harmony which reveals our tradition. He said that Congress leaders personally visited the Prime Minister and apprised the situation and demanded solution in favour of Jammuites. Laying stress on delimitation he said that delimitation was always remain on the agenda of the party, he urged upon the governor to reach upto the delimitation commission so that people will get benefit. Counting the achievements of Congress party he said that it is the only party which understand the sentiments of the people. He said during Congress reign headed by Ghulam Nabi Azad no discrimination was made and creation of new districts is the live example. He said government jobs were at apex, development in all fields, whether tourism or any others, was rampant and no area has left behind in which feet of development was laid. Shouting salvos at PDP he said that had the Congress known the nefarious designs of the PDP,the party would not have made alliance with it. He sought full support from the people for the up coming elections and people gave positive response during the occasion. Earlier people shouted slogans in favour of UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi with tricolours in their hands.Dance on the tune of dol and crackers were also exploded for the nuclear victory. Prominent among those present on the occasion were Inderjeet Singh, corporators Satish Sharma,Kulbushan Sharma, Tilak Raj Gupta, Rakesh Bhagat, Devaan Chand, Chowdhary Dwarka besides Lati,Amrit Balli,Bhupinder Singh , Sumitra Devi.
