Sunil Dimple, president Jammu west Assembly have demanded to bifurcate Jammu west assembly constituency before holding next election, this he said while addressing a press conference here today.
He said it is the largest constituency in the state having population of ten lakh with 26 municipal wards. Beside a separate district status be granted to it. He said in this regard a memorandum of demands have been sent to Chief election commissioner and also to State governor N.N. Vohra and to election commissioner J&K B.R. Sharma with the request that the demands he met before elections. Coming down heavily on the previous Congress, PDP Collision Govt. Dimple alleged that the partners of Collision govt. Badly looted the Public Exchequer. All the Development of Jammu Region and Particularly Jammu West Constituency Stoped and Left Behind the pace of Development. The People of Constituency Deprived of Basic Amenities like Drinking Water, medical Facilities, Govt. Educational institution are in worst conditions, Sewerage Electrification, Roads, Drainage system, Lanes, Drains are in Deplorable conditions.
He alleged that in the Tenure of Collision Govt. from 2002 to 2008 only Anti National Slogans like Demilitarization, Dual Currency, Self Rule, Independence opening of Borders, Autonomy and Anti National Slogans were Raised. Anti National Forces were encouraged But no attention was paid to words the Miseries of people of the state which put the people of the state in Multi Dimensional Problems and separatist Forces, Corruption, Unemployment and Militancy Again Raised its Ugly Heads in the State. |
