| Lehar’s play bags Prez award | | | Early Times Reporter

The President of India has awarded Rs.50, 000 to the play ‘Batwara’ written by S S Anand Lehar.
The play which is based on famous short story Batwara reflects the miseries of the people due to the partition and is being staged by Nami Dogra Sanstha-The Art Foundation Jammu.
It may be recalled that Lehar has already been awarded by different government and non-governmental organizations. His 11th book in Urdu on recent Jammu agitation is currently under print and is likely to hit the stalls within a month. |
