The activists of Janta Dal united have deplored the statement of Raj Thakre, threatening the actor Amitabh Bacchan family for not speaking in Marathi.
Vishnu Kumar Mishra addressing the party members said the politics of Nav Nirman Sena led by Raj is worst kind of politics of Raj and is threatening north Indians.
Mishra said since India is an independent democratic country every citizen has the freedom to live in any part of his choice in the country and speak any language he like to speak and no politician or law can force him to speak a particular language. He urged him to stop the divisive politics of blackmailing and do some real productive politics for the betterment of the Maharashtra State and the people living there.
He said Thakre will react if the Marathi people who visits Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine are asked to speak Dogri when they enter the Jammu region. But since the people of Jammu region are peace loving and respect the fundamental rights of the other people. |
