| Ensuing election referendum for delimitation: Harsh Dev | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Sep 10
The Panthers Party leadership has decided to treat the next Assembly election as referendum for delimitation. Party General Secretary, Harsh Dev Singh, today said "vote for Panthers will be vote for delimitation commission". He said "demand for setting up delimitation commission will be our main poll plank in the ensuing election." Harsh Dev Singh said that during "our meeting with the members of the Election commission in Delhi we raised the issue and it is up to the commission and the central Government to concede the demand of the people". He said "it is great injustice to the people of the Jammu region that delimitation of the constituencies stands blocked for another 18 years because of the resolution adopted by the state legislature". In reply to a question he said that the Governor had powers to undo this injustice by issuing a notification on the setting up a Delimitation Commission.
