| To reign militancy SSP holds meet | | | Early Times Reporter

In the back drop of repeated inputs regarding infiltration of militants in the Kanachak sector SSP Jammu Manohar Singh visited various forward posts and held coordination committee with the army, BSF and CRPF personnel in which various points with regard to the plugging of infiltration places and other issues were discussed. Besides SSP held meetings with the locals of border areas where he came to know scarcity of the VDC members. He on the spot advised SDPO Akhnoor to identify all such villages where VDC can be established. He also adviced to the concerned SHOs to hold a meeting of the VDC members with in a month to chalk out strategy. Where as other issues related to immediate issuance of character certificate, identity card and others were also discussed. |
