Deputation of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum’ submits demands to DSEJ

Jammu, Jan 10: A deputation of Jammu Kashmir Teachers' Forum led by Ganesh Khajuria, chairman met Director School Education Jammu, Anuradha Gupta and personnel officer Sanjay Bhat and discussed various issues pertaining to the teaching community and also submitted a detailed memorandum for immediate solution.
The core issues projected by the chairman included repatriation of lecturers and masters serving out of their home district for more than three years, steps regarding the transfers of teachers /masters and lecturers in winter and summer zones as per the order issued by the commissioner secretary School Education Jammu.
Issue of general confirmation order of masters and other cadres of School Education Department promoted under DPC and have completed two years of satisfactory service and release of pending 6th, 7th pay arrears of masters /teachers and pending arrears of RRETs ,Gr II and Gr III teachers pending since long were also submitted.
Besides, transfer policy in favour of teachers appointed under ReT scheme, creation of posts of masters in SSA upgraded schools on the pattern of RMSA, removal of pay anomalies of masters and teachers and others demands were also included.
Director School Education gave a patient hearing and gave on spot instructions to the concerned official to sort out some issues which were in her domain and assured the deputation to take up the matter with administrative department before 20th of this month. Those who were the part of deputation included Darshan Sharma, J.A Agah, Kuldeep Singh Bandral, Daya Krishan Sharma, Balraj Singh, Rakesh Kumar, Vijay Kumar, Krishan Lal,Ram Lal, Mohan Lal, Bodh Raj, Kameshwar Dubey, Harbans Lal and many others.
