| 4-day inter-school hockey, football tourney from Sept 19 | | | Early Times Reporter

After indoor events, the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) shall be conducting inter-school (boys and girls) under-19 year competitions of Jammu district in the events of football, hockey, handball, softball and basketball at different venues here from September 19.
While two-day competitions in boys section shall take place from September 19, the girls’ events shall be conducted between September 22 and September 23.
As per a circular released by the district Jammu office of the DYSS, the boys’ football competition shall take place at Mini-Stadium Parade while the handball event is to be conducted at Sports Field, Shastri Nagar. The hockey event shall take place either of the two venues of K K Hakoo Stadium and Green Field ground, Gandhi Nagar, here on the given dates. Basketball and Softball competitions shall be held at Mini Stadium, Parade and Higher Secondary School, Domana respectively. |
