Mir lambastes NC for double talk

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), at a meeting of its prominent workers held here under the chairmanship of Farooq Assadullah Mir, has appreciated the stand taken by the party leadership on holding assembly elections at this juncture.
Lambasting National Conference leadership for its double speak, Mir Assadullah pointed towards confusing statement of NC leaders Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah and cautioned the people against the gimmick of the NC leaders.
He said that NC leaders have been befooling the innocent masses by giving such statements. He said that it was high time to teach a lesson to these leaders.
Speakers in the meeting highlighted development works which were undertaken during the regime of Mufti Mohammad Sayed. They pointed out that during PDP rule, developmental process was accelerated and comprehensive programmes and policies were formulated for the development and upliftment of the far-flung areas.
Meeting resolved to take the message of PDP to every nook and corner of the state to educate the masses about revolutionary policies of the party.
