Jammu and Kashmir Lok Jan Shakti Party has demanded immediate implementation of the recommendations of Sixth Pay Commission in the state. Addressing a press conference, here today, state president of the party Rafiq Malik said that the state government shall complete all necessary formalities so as to implement the recommendations of sixth pay commission with regard to the state government employees.
He hoped that the state government employees can draw revised salary from October 1 He said that government of UP and some other states have already implemented the recommendations of Sixth Pay Commission of India and hence Jammu and Kashmir government should also do the same. Malik also announced party candidates for Rajouri, Kalakot and Nowshera constituencies for the forthcoming assembly elections. He said that Ramesh Chander District President Rajouri will be party's candidate for Rajouri assembly seat, while Rajinder Kumar District General secretary Rajouri will contest from Nowshera and Mahinder Kour State general secretary Mahila Wing will be fielded from Kalakot constituency.
