People with vested interests trying to malign Dharmarth Trust’s image'
1/17/2021 11:51:09 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, Jan 17: Dharmarth Trust management has out rightly rejected the accusations made by a handful of disgruntled employees of the organization stating that a few employees and some ex-employees whose services were terminated several years ago due to malpractices and corrupt activities are misguiding other employees to further their own vested interests.
In a statement issued here today, Spokesperson of the Trust said that these people with vested interests and some corrupt ex-employees were attempting to malign the public image of the Trust. However, it was clarified that the so called unrest among employees of the Trust was only restricted to Jammu city and all other Temples in Samba, Kathua, Ramban, Udhampur, Bhaderwah and Kashmir were running smoothly, he said.
The spokesperson further said that these handful of employees who are protesting have no interest in the welfare of the Temples or the Trust and are only interested in their personal gains. He clarified that only handful of employees of the Trust’s Jammu city unit are indulging in anti-organisation activities misguiding the dedicated employees of the organization, thus creating inconvenience for devotees by disrupting functioning of the Trust and some Temples in Jammu city. The statement further maintained that Jammu is famous as a Temple City and tourists throng the city especially to pay obeisance at various temples and shrines but due to unjustified protest by some disgruntled people the visitors are facing the brunt and returning back home disappointed thus giving a wrong signal to the society and damaging the local economy.
“Furthermore, the concerns raised by the striking employees have no legal foothold as the same have been rejected by the Hon’ble High Court in the year 2009.
What seems to be behind this whole gamut is vested interests of some of the employees who are trying to malign the image of Dharmarth Trust by misleading the entire staff, society and the tourists”, the statement said, adding that it is high time that all employees re-join duties to once again work for the convenience of the devotees and upkeep of the rich culture and heritage of J&K which is enshrined in the religious shrines and temples.
