Sharma hail people of Rajouri, Poonch for maintaining communal harmony

Member Parliament Madan Lal Sharma has said that some communal and fundamentalist elements have tried to vitiate the atmosphere of peace and brotherhood in the twin border districts of Rajouri-Poonch , however the public of the area need to be complimented for defeating the nefarious designs of such forces.
Addressing a meeting of prominent citizens, councillors and representatives of political parties at Rajouri. Sharma said that the people of the area of border belt need s to be complemented for maintaining communal harmony. Despite some ugly incidents by some mischievous elements and felt the need to rebuild the atmosphere of peace and harmony. During the function three ambulances in the district for three hospitals Ganbir Mugalanm Sharda Sahrief and Rajouri city were provided by MP. Sharma also to provide one fully equipped big ambulances to Dist. Hospital Rajouri, besides one each for Deriliote and Thanamandi.
Sharma said that state has witnessed massive development during Congress led regime in the state under the chiefministership of Ghilam Nabi Azad and twin border districts also got their due share in the matter of development during this period after having remained neglected for several decades. He mentioned about the dream project of the people of the area i.e. Mugal Road which will open flood gate for the development and economic prosperity for this border belt and will serve as alternate ling to Kashmir Valley.
He said, Congress has always favoured equitable development of all the regions and delimitation is on the top agendas of the party to give people of the region their due place in the political sphere of the state. He also demanded that the PHE workers of Jammu region should be paid equal wages at par with those in Kashmir valley besides implementation of 6th pay commission in the state.
Prominent among those attended the meeting included Shabir Ahmed Khan, Kuleep Raj Gupta, Babu Ram Sharma, Said Abdul Rashid, Ch Hussain, Abdul Rashid Kataria, Lovely Gupta, Laslit Mahajan, Shakeel Mir, Manju Sharma .
