| Ladakh Scouts thrash Karakoram Polo | | | Early Times Report

The final match of Polo tournament of Ladakh Festival was played today between Ladakh Scouts Polo team and the Karakoram Polo Teams of Indian Army, which was won by the Ladakh Scouts by 8 goals to 1.
The GOC 14 Corps, Lt. Gen. Ahaluwalia was the chief guest on the final match while as the Deputy Commissioner, Leh Mr. Ajeet Kumar Sahu was present on the occasion as Guest of Honour.
Hundreds of foreign tourists as well as domestic tourists and a large local audiences witnessed the final polo match.
This tournament was participated by 3 Polo teams including one team from civil.
The GOC later gave away Trophies and prizes to the players and encouraged them .
Likewise, on the 13th day of Ladakh festival, Chhams ( Lama Mask dances ) was performed by the Monks of Spituk Monastery today. Thangka exhibition was also held at Spituk Monastery today.
Many foreign tourists have seen enjoying the mask dance at Spituk Monastery. |
