| CRPF Jawan shot dead in Srinagar | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar | Sept 13
Unidentified person suspected to be the militants open fire from point black range at a CRPF Jawan killing him on the spot at Sakidafar, Safa Kadal, here this afternoon, official sources said.
Identified as S. N. Matapati of 161 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) had gone to purchase fruits, when he was shot dead from close range by some unidentified militants.
"The police and para military personnel cordoned off the area immediately soon after the Jawan was shot dead", sources told News Agency of Kashmir adding no militant organization has claimed responsibility of the attack so far. |
