| Atul to attend advance course in Korea | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Sept 13
The NIS qualified Taekwondo coach, Atul Pangotra will be leaving for Korea from New Delhi tomorrow to attend a 21-day advance training programme in Taekwondo, organized by World Taekwondo Federation in collaboration with Kyung Hee University. According to reports reaching here, Atul is first and the only player from North India, who is going to attend such a prestigious course in Taekwondo. Only two people from the country have undergone such a programme before Atul got the invitation. They are SAI chief coach, Parveen Vadre of Maharashtra and Gautam Singh Virdi of Jharkhand. In all, 20 persons from world over are attending the programme which is scheduled to be held from September 17 to October seven. It is pertinent to mention here that Atul won a gold medal in the National Poomsae Championship held in the recent past. |
