Justice Manmohan Sarin was presented guard of honour at High Court Complex Janipur on his maiden visit to winter capital after taking over as the Chief Justice of Jammu and Kashmir High Court.
Justice Sarin was sworn in as the new Chief Justice of Jammu and Kashmir High Court at Srinagar on September 4, 2008.
Born on October 20, 1946, Justice Sarin enrolled as an Advocate at Delhi High Court in 1979 where he practiced in district courts and occasionally in the Supreme Court in Civil and Constitutional matters. He was appointed as Additional Judge of the Delhi High Court from May, 1995 and later as permanent Judge in the year 1998.
The Chief Justice also went around the court complex.
Among others, Justice Nirmal Singh, Justice Varinder Singh, Justice Y.P. Nargotra, Justice J. P. Singh, Justice Sunil Hali, Registrar, Deputy Registrar, senior Advocates, bar members were also present at the High court complex to receive the Chief Justice at the winter capital. |
