| KP’s demonstrate at Jantar Mantar | | ASKPC, PK to work in tandem to achieve the lost land | | New Delhi | Sept 15
Despite the scare following the serial blasts, Kashmiri Pandits turned in large numbers to join the demonstration from different areas of National Capital Region of Delhi under the ageis of Panun Kashmir to pay Homage to the martyrs at Jantar Mantar New Delhi.
The program had to be changed at the last moment from March to Prime Minster’s residence for a ‘SIT IN DEMONSTRATION’ on the request of NCR Government authorities, in view of last night serial blasts in Delhi.
The rally was declared as anti- terrorism rally, besides paying homage to Martyrs.
While paying homage to martyrs Dr. Ajay Chrunjoo Chairman Panun Kashmir exhorted that the religious cleansing and genocide of Kashmiri Hindus was not an aberration but a result of communalization, fundemantalization and militarization of the Kashmiri Social milieu and polity over decades. Government of India must recognize this and come up with a comprehensive solution, he added. Dr. Chrunjoo said that the time has come that GOI has to initiate process of consolidation of nationalist forces in the state of Jammu and Kashmir and maintained that Panun Kashmir is the only framework which addresses the problems of nationalist forces
He assured the rallayists that they are not alone in this struggle and the nationalist people of India appreciate our concerns which was amply demonstrated by people of Jammu during Shri Amarnath Shrine land row.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. L.N.Dhar President Kashmir Samiti Delhi declared that there was no other political solution to Kashmir problem other than carving out ‘HOMELAND’ with U.T status for displaced Kashmiri Hindus for their respectable settlement in Kashmir Valley.
He said that Delhi Samiti will launch an all out effort in consolidation of Panun Kashmir agenda among the masses. Dr Dhar assured the Panun Kashmir leadership of its support and offered its services for the propagation of Panun Kashmir ideology.
There is no difference between Kashap State and Panun Kashmir declared Kundan Kashmiri General Secretary and chief spokesman ASKPC, while addressing the gathering. ‘The community should have no confusion between the two, I want to make it clear that we are demanding and demonstrating for the same solution as does Panun Kashmir’, He said. He informed the rallyists that we called off our proposed Yagnya to pay homage to Martyrs on the call given by Panun Kashmir for a march to PM residence.
Panun Kashmir and ASKPC will work in tandem to achieve the lost land, Kundan Kashmiri assured the gathering.
The rally concluded with reading out the Memorandum to the rallyists by Kuldeep Raina
Later, a seven member delegation led by Dr. Ajay Chrungoo and comprising Dr. L. N. Dhar (President Kashmir Samiti Delhi ), Prof. M. L. Raina , Vijay Tickoo , Kuldeep Raina, Ramesh Handoo and Kamal Wangnoo called on Prithvi Raj Chauhan, Minister of State looking after PMO affairs and Kashmir Cell. The delegation had an hour long meeting with the Minister who gave a patient hearing to the concerns of the members of the delegation and assured them that he will be briefing the Prime Minister of their concerns which are very serious and need an immediate attention. |
