| Niaz meets CS, highlights peoples’ problems | | | Early Times Report
Jammu | Sept 15
Member Legislative Council and former Minister Mohammed Sharief Niaz today met S.S. Kapoor, Chief Secretary and apprised him about various issues relating to the public welfare. He also submitted a charter of demands, demanding among other things, completion of on going schemes in Doda district, establishment of Tourism Development Authority, Bhalessa, release of compensation in favour of the land owners whose land stands acquired by the Government for different schemes, adequate supply of ration to draught hit areas like Siraz, Desa and Kandi areas of Thathri, Chatroo, Bhalessa, Bunjwah, Bhaderwah & Ramban, He also demanded posting of staff to newly upgraded educational institutions of the district, regularization of all daily wagers ReT Teachers and release of honorarium to VDC members and the SPOs
The Chief Secretary is reported to have given a patient hearing and assured that the points raised in the memorandum would be taken up with the concerned for consideration. |
